ASP GEOBASH X (2015)

Friday started out with a Flash Mob held in Bradford, hosted again by Stepping Stones. In the evening, the Allegheny Rangers geocaching group sponsored the ASP Geobash Bonfire Meet & Greet for the fourth year in a row. This year, an American Indian storyteller told attendees around the fire many stories.

ASP GEOBASH IX (2014)

1013 attendees made this one of the biggest GeoBashes yet! Not all of them made the Friday night Flash Mob or the bonfire “Meet and Greet,” but those events still had record attendance despite temperatures that had folks bundled up in heavy coats and gloves. The bonfire was very welcome indeed.

ASP GEOBASH VII (2012)

ASP GEOBASH VII (2012)

The theme this year was “Cache Hunters,” inspired by previous year cachers finding a fawn hiding in the grass near Camp Allegany. A deer was chosen as mascot, a big target was used as the Event Log, and the orange event t-shirts made the group picture and event grounds a veritable sea of orange.

ASP GEOBASH VI (2011)

It had been past practice to alternate locations of the ‘bash between the Quaker and Red House areas of ASP, but due to such wonderful attendance, the committee resigned to the fact that Camp Allegany was really the only facility capable of accommodating what had become the largest annual event in the park.
